The Riesling Country Cottages located in the charming and renowned Clare Valley were taken over by Andrew and Mandy Sullivan in early 2014. A long-term dream to live on ‘the land’ took them to no other than the Valley.
Situated on 82 acres., the farm is currently running Merino sheep, a few chickens, two delightful sheep dogs Gus and Winston and has a pretty major veggie patch in the works.
Mandy runs the ship day to day and prepares a pretty spectacular local breakfast basket for your arrival which includes eggs fresh from the chooks, local bacon, home made bread, jam and cereals as well as the divine local Clare Valley wine.
In 2015 plans for pop-up cookery classes on the farm are in full swing with daughter Rebecca who runs a successful food curation business.Rebecca is a cook book author and TV presenter. She offers private cooking classes to guests and info is available subject to availability.
Their two sons Tim and Chris are often seen at weekends when they come home to rest and rejuvenate from city life. This often means doing farm jobs followed by beers of course. Dad Andrew loves to potter about taking care of the land and the sheep, also followed by a few beers at knock off o clock.
